My feeling is that gun laws really won’t stop people like Cruz just make it a little harder for them to cause their intended harm.
The big problem is not what happened in Fla or Sandy Hook or Columbine. It is what is happening EVERYDAY in Chicago or NO or Baltimore or most major metro areas. What happened in Fla is just a few more deaths than a normal weekend in Chicago.

Precisely. I'm not a fan of semi-automatic weapons for the general populace, but the cat is out of the bag in regards to guns. I'm not sure how you could ever prevent what happened Wednesday short of total ban and confiscation....and I'm not for that
