Step 0. Vote for those who will allow open carry in public areas not protected by armed law enforcement.
Step 1. Avoid gun free zones. They are killing fields and death traps.
Step 2. Pay attention to your surroundings. If in a legal gun free zone, pay attention for escape routes and hiding places.
Step 3. Flee if possible when shooting starts. Hope someone else kills the SOB. Better a live coward than a dead hero.
Step 4. Hide and ambush if you cannot flee.
Step 5. If cannot flee or hide, pull and fire. Kill the SOB.
