5% of the general population is my guess. Probably lower for the segment of the population that are generally teachers. For a high school of 2000 - 3000 students (a big school by most standards across the country) that would leave 3 - 5 holders of the student to teacher ratio is 30:1.

That would be 3-5 more guns potentially able to stop or slow down the shooting before law enforcement arrives. There’s no logical reason why they are now allowed to carry at school.
