"I believe that the starting point of faith is some doubt -- not being so full of yourself and so confident that you are right and that God speaks only to us, and doesn’t speak to others, that God only cares about us and doesn’t care about others, that somehow we alone are in possession of the truth."
-President Barack Obama at the 2015 National Prayer Breakfast.
Hey Joy...what about Barack? Is he crazy too?

That quote is gold. He's basically saying no religion has a monopoly on religious truth when most if not all religions claim that very thing due to the law of non-contradiction.
It's actually very condescending to say that to someone of faith. It's basically saying that what they believe isn't right and that they should accept other faiths as being equally valid. If that were true, no religion would be true and it would be an act of futility to adhere to it with any sort of conviction.

The very basis of modern progressivism is that there is no truth. Only consensus.

And then there’s Maude.
I wonder how many people on this site have no idea who Maude is.

How full of oneself do you have to be to make a statement like that.... if you say you are a Christian?
Even the most limited understanding of the Bible would include Jesus dieing for EVERYONE.
What a dumbass.
