Yeah the Herm Edwards hire is strange and doesn't feel serious. No way it ends well.
Harbaugh is a good answer. He is the current Charlie Weis. I thought both were absolute can't miss homerun hires. They both started great but then got worse. Weis ended up being horrible at coaching college football. Harbaugh still has time to get Michigan back but it looks more doubtful every year.
He does do some embarrassing stuff but it's because he is mentally challenged.
-Spending the night with recruits
- that video of him randomly climbing that tree at a recruits house was hilarious. But it was hilarious because he wasn't trying to be funny, he was serious and legit wanted to climb that tree.
That is when I realized he was on the autism spectrum. He is Rainman of the football world. It is impressive he has been successful as a coach with his lack of social skills.
