Snyder's original cut would've been amazing for Snyder fans.
It would've pissed everyone else off, but it would've been 180 degrees away from Marvel Studios and insane.
Fox can do stuff like this because they've had some core hits with the X-Men universe and they can afford to put out some weird shite. DC just has Wonder Woman (since Nolan's Batman) and can't afford to be experimental with their main characters.
