I'm offended that they would beat someone this badly. Those girls are human beings and don't deserve that level of embarrassment.

They might as well be playing a high school team. There isn't enough talent to go around even a quarter of D1 WBB

I mean if women's basketball ever wants to be taken seriously they need to have better competition. This UCONN and two other teams being decent is stupid.

Not to the same level, but this does happen. I remember a Pitino coached UK team beat Tennessee in the SEC tourney 101-40.

Only off by a few points.
There is a bigger disparity certainly in WBB than men's, but there are losses in men's that are just as bad. Especially OOC games early in the season.

You said yourself not on the same level. The level of frequency that women's games are 30 point margins seems 10 fold that of the men's game. This is why I can't take anything about Geno Auriema being a great coach seriously. He may be a great coach, but I can't use anything he's done at UCONN to support that argument.

Yep when there are 20 players better than everyone else by a large margin and 6-7 are on 1 team most years coaching isn’t a major concern

I mean they did win like 111 in a row or something. I guess there is some credit to give for at least managing 12 women to not hate each other for that long. But I can't even think of a good comparison. Maybe if Alabama had to play HS teams for 5 or 6 straight years with a "tough" game against Tulane every year would anyone consider Saban good? Because that's about how big the talent disparity is. Hell UK women can't even consistently hit open layups.

That 1 recruiting class produced the 1, 2, 3 picks in the draft. In a sport there 5 play at a time thats pretty disgusting
