no one said anything about recruiting... it was more along the lines of why would he turn down UF for Nebraska?

and is Nebraska still a coveted position?

well he is from Nebraska. He grew up watching the huskers coached by TO, he played for the huskers.


I mean to him being from where he from, the Nebraska job was his #1 job.

Are you serious? He grew up there, played there, and won a national championship there. There was never any question where he was going. Gainesville is the Thibodaux of Florida.

Ya no, pretty much everyone was saying he wouldn't be able to recruit at nebraska.

Frost coming to Nebraska is one of those coaching hires where he wont even be on a leash the first 5 years. They realize how bad off Riley left that program so hes got free reign and unlimited resources for the first 5 years before anyone in the university thinks of turning on the seat warmer.

It may not be a top tier job but it's got top tier facilities and fanbase in this state. If he gets them back to 10 wins with his recruits, expect to see a power shift towards Lincoln.

The loss yesterday sucked btw. I stated at the beginning of the season that 6 wins would be great and that was one of those wins I was counting. Blergh.
