The hostels are incredible in Phnom Penh, and I've heard Siem Reap is full of partying especially Pub Street. I stayed at Mad Monkey for 2 nights in PP and there was free beer both nights at the sunset bar next door to my dorm.

Ta Prohm, Bayon, Angkor Wat, etc are gonna blow you away.
