No you don't. Valentine's Day is a made up day. Doing something overboard now just sets you up for having to always do something to top that every year.


Keep it simple. It's a made up holiday, not your wedding day or anniversary, or her birthday or any other actual important day.

I agree with what you're saying, but I kind of owe her this one. I normally don't do the whole Valentine's day stuff, which is why I'm in need of suggestions.

Have you considered a helicopter/aircraft ride around the city? They have champagne and strawberry packages for around $300.

You could also look into a hot air ballon ride.
