I walked around the boat show all day and nearly all the financing break downs were in 20 year terms. I shite you not.

Last summer, at one of our grandson's little league games, a senior gentlemen, even more senior than I, had parked his rig and truck to watch his grandson play. This boat was LOADED. I complimented him on it and said it's nice but I could never afford anything like that at my age, especially. He said, " I can't either, but it's financed for 20 years and I want to have something nice while I'm able to enjoy it. I'll be dead and gone before it's paid off. Then they can just come and get it."

Boat financing is an interesting argument.

Some say its a luxury that should be enjoyed when you have the means to do it.

Others argue that you should enjoy it while you have your health, and your kids are young.

And that guy's argument is just as legit, saying, if not now, when?

Like most things in life, you don't know another man's logic.
