Read up on how they evaluate and you’ll have a better understaning of how the rankings work.
There are a lot better courses however they don’t have enough evaluations to qualified.
I don’t see how that’s Golf Digests’ fault. There just aren’t enough panelists in Louisiana and not enough courses in LA open up to be evaluated.

Again. What good is the process if the result doesn’t reflect reality at all? If that’s not their goal, fine. Then don’t call it a “best courses” list and instead call it “here are some courses in each state that let us rank them in no particular order”
