That’s a lame excuse. Even the ones listed are laughably out of order. Have you been to the Bluffs lately? It was in sad condition before it was hit by two floods that basically wiped away two holes. Membership is down and they haven’t fixed those two holes. But sure... 4th best course in the state.
ETA: there should be a disclaimer: “These aren’t really the best courses in the state.”

Read up on how they evaluate and you’ll have a better understaning of how the rankings work.
There are a lot better courses however they don’t have enough evaluations to qualified.
I don’t see how that’s Golf Digests’ fault. There just aren’t enough panelists in Louisiana and not enough courses in LA open up to be evaluated.
