I don't get the hate. She was probably using the ID badge and stethoscope as props so that she would look the part.. She is probably annoying and one of those types who "knows it all" and she says things like "I work in the ER, I see it all the time". But her message is legit.
There are people, who when they go to the ER, they whole fricking family goes. Mother, father, wife, siblings, cousins... everybody. And there is no reason for them to go. Then there are people who go to the ER because of a mosquito bite.. She is basically saying.. "look mother frickers. Don't come to the ER unless you have some serious shite that can't be taken care off at home" but she had to put it in simple terms.

There are nurses that have to work multiple locations during the course of their day, some hospitals have two or more campuses and staff will often split time among them. Wearing your ID and carrying the stethoscope around your neck is a good way to make sure you have them when you arrive at the other location.
