You can get behind Wade and staff being fired if a player with no criminal history other than a accusation is again merely accused with no charges even brought?

That’s absurd. Michigan State and Baylor covered up multiple complaints and allegations against players after they were already on campus. And the Athletic programs were responsible for dismisses/underhanded complaints.

Wade giving scholarships to players who had their cases handled out in public by the justice system with no charges brought is nowhere near equivalent. If either player is accused of a sexual violation at LSU and Wade suspends the player pending an investigation by authorities unconnected to the athletics program that’s exactly what he should do. And he should be lauded. frick this guy. An accusation is just that. An accusation. Counting an accusation as strike one is to completely ignore the point innocent until proven guilty

In short, for the two guys mentioned in the article, yes.

LSU represents the state. With everything going on in the world, particularly at michigan state, you'd have to be a complete dumbass to take a chance on a kid that was accused of this. Right or wrong, it's not worth it.

I understand you can't predict 18-22 year olds behavior, but both of these guys have been accused once. If they get accused again then Wade was the idiot that brought them to LSU.
