I've had DTN for a few months now and have generally been pleased with it. The only problem I've encountered is occasionally buffering, which was addressed in another thread here. The main culprit was ESPN and its affiliates. The buffering was worse at night during peak watch times which was 6-10pm. I downloaded the ESPN app and have much better luck with that although the picture quality fades in and out at times. I did a little more research and found that this is an ESPN problem and not a DTN problem. I'll occasionally have another channel briefly buffer but it's not for long. I never have any buffering issues on any of the apps I have. I am currently connected to AT&T broadband and have the Internet50 plan. My video connection is via built in Roku on a TCL television which shows I have "excellent" wifi reception. This past Tuesday I learned that AT&T is installing fiber in my subdivision in March and I can't wait to get on board! A friend of mine has had DTN for about a year now and he has never had an issue with buffering on any channel. He has Cox internet. He is also participating in the DTN DVR beta program and likes it a lot. I believe that it will come on line later this year.

I have COX Gigablast internet and consistently have buffering issues with Directv Now. I am about to cancel it and go with Hulu Live tv because I get local channels with it but do not with the Directv Now. If Directv Now fixes the buffering issue I might go back, but it becomes almost unwatchable during peak times and Hulu has not had the same buffering issues during the 7 day trial I have been using this week.
