Mays ain’t starting over Javonte bruh. frick that.

You say that, but Wade likes Mays's consistency. Plus, he would be a 3 year starter come next season. That's not to say Smart wouldn't play A LOT, because he will, but coaches like guys they can trust and Mays seems to be one of those guys. It's certainly possible. But I don't think it's a lock that Smart starts over Mays (at least initially)

Wade will have some interesting options though at guard. Waters is the best shooter of the bunch. Do you move him to the off-guard spot at time and let Smart handle the ball in an effort to try to free Waters up for open 3's? However, Waters is probably your best floor general as well. If I were Wade it would be hard to take the ball out of his hands.

Also, it's hard to see Williams playing the 3 very often in a line up with no shooters. If anything, I think Days is going to be a very big swingman for next year's team. He could probably give you good minutes at 3 different spots (2-3-4) and allow Wade to mix and match his line up accordingly.

The bigger question for all the Freshman is will they defend? LSU hasn't had much trouble on offense this year. It's the defense that has to VASTLY improve if they want to be serious national player next season.

I think people are mistakenly trying to put the "best" players in these lineups, with no regard for positions. I don't see Williams or Days as a 3 at all.

Unless some high level wing is signed, I see LSU running a 3-guard lineup, with Bigby-Williams and Reid starting.
