The bad radiator made the tranny overheat. Check for a used transmission from a salvage yard and order a radiator from Rock Auto. Might get lucky.

Also a company called Pull-a-Part is all over the place (larger cities) and you can check what vehicle (Make model and year) they have in. Their parts are very reasonable and you'll learn a lot taking their stock apart to get to the parts you need. (You do have a Chiltren's for the truck?)

Youre not gonna find an old 700R in a junkyard that doesnt need to be rebuilt. All the seals will be hard as rocks.

I wasn’t aware that the transmission cools via the radiator in these trucks.
