He's coached one good QB his entire career
Check my earlier post. Since joining P5 schools he has coached 6 QBs. 2 were 1st rounders. They set career passing yard records at Clemson twice, Texas A&M, Georgia, and the SEC. The 5th one was 2nd at Auburn. Two had undefeated seasons at aTm and Auburn. If you credit Etling to him, then he only has one other meh QB ever coached which was at aTm. Even that meh QB led aTm to a Big 12 championship and BCS bowl.
I would say he has had more success coaching QBs than not by a far. Auburn, aTm, Georgia, Clemson, and the SEC had ever seen a QB with as many passing yards until he came around.
He coaching QBs makes a lot more sense than O being a HC.

I've read his bio and saw who he coached. Stop crediting him for Campbell who actually did worse the year he coached him, and better before and after Ensminger (if you're following, that's at least 3 different QB coaches). He didn't coach up Etling either. Etling had already been here over a year with Cam before Ensminger called a play in 2016. It's kinda funny that in a new offense (Canada), with less experienced pass catchers, Etling did better in every statistical category. If you are going to credit anybody for Etling, it should be Canada.
Corey Pullig was already playing well before Ensminger got there. As a matter of fact his QB rating was the highest in his career the year BEFORE Ensminger got there. He then regressed again his senior year.
Nealon Greene, had already played for 3 years at Clemson, it's no wonder he was the career passing leader. Ensminger didn't do that.
Woodrow Dantzler was the backup, and barely played the only year Ensminger was there with him. Bolding career passing leader, like Ensminger had something to do with it, is nonsense.
You are just like all the idiots who give O credit for shite he didn't do. If Ensminger was a good QB coach, he would have never been forced to be a TE coach, and would have never stayed a TE coach.
