I don’t get the Peggy hate. Unless you just wanted the show to be ALL about drunken cheating.
It had everything. Peggy and Dons scenes toward the end are some of the best.
Even thought the ending was well done. Without getting spoiler-ish. The finale is a slow burn. They have so many loose ends to wrap up with about 10 minutes left. I was on the edge of my seat and furious during one scene that those who watched will probably know what I’m talking about.
I’ll have to do a rewatch.

Loved the show. However, I hated the ending. As you said, it had a lot of loose ends to tie up on the last episode. I felt like the writing was lazy about wrapping things up.
