The truth is that Obama inherited a really shitty economy and growth and improvement was steady over his 8 year term,
Following ALL previous severe recessions the U.S. economy reacted by growing FASTER than average.

In Obama's eight years, the econmy grew SLOWER than average.

The GDP didn't equal 3%+ growth in any year of his two terms. That's the first time that happened under any two-term President. THE FIRST TIME!

It's why Obama and his underlings started trying to convince Americans of the "new economic normal of 2% growth."

There is a chance, barring a major terrorist attack, that in this year, 2018, the economy under Trump will see 4%+ growth from the Trump tax cuts law.

LSURussian you need to read this:

Here is an excerpt:

Still, the preliminary conclusion is that the Trump record is modest, at best. The economy performed well in 2017, but not significantly better than its prior trend. The corporate sector showed more vigor, responding to a more business- and tax-friendly administration. But improved economic and financial conditions abroad also helped. Meanwhile, U.S. job creation slowed somewhat and the dollar weakened.

Neither the gains nor the losses can be fully ascribed to Trump. Perhaps, therefore, the biggest surprise is that, for all the fire and fury, less has changed than one might think.
