I'm sorry you can't see the difference between the Russia narrative and this. The left and the MSM were looking for Russians under every rock to find some ties to Trump without any evidence. The only "evidence" they did have was the dossier that was completely debunked and even the biased MSM had to admit as much.

On the other hand, there is all sorts of circumstantial evidence for the 2016 campaign and back into the workings of the Obama administration that created suspicion of foul play. This memo supposedly confirms that suspicion, and like I said, the fact that only GOP reps even wanted to look at it, much less have it released, shows its worth. This isn't some leak to the press but a document reviewed by Congress.
