Baseball has parity which is nice.

CFB is the worst.

Difference between Bama winning the title this year and not?

Play on the field? Nope.

Votes. Pandering. Politicking. Little Nicky crying on Gameday.

If Bama gets left out of the playoff in favor of Ohio State or Wisconsin. Do they win the National Title?

A sport where you have to be invited to win the Natty is a pretty stupid sport unless you invite everyone.

Hell even most coaches want every team to be invited to March Madness and they have 64 already!

Not just a ridiculous 4.

You had an upvote till halfway thru....then you lost it.

The problem wasn't the two team playoff (BCS championship) and isn't the four-team playoff. The problem is the combination of the lack of specific objective criteria for selection and the favoritism it opens the door for.

We are four years in to the playoffs and two of the so-called champions are illegitimate. Of course, the talking heads and fans of those teams will try to say that the result justified the incorrect decision, but it didn't.

Wisconsin was a clear cut team that should have gotten in over Alabama when matching up resumes. The top opponents that each team beat were similar. Wisconsin had 12
FBS wins vs 10 for Bama. Wisconsin won it's division -
Bama didn't. Wisconsin's lone loss was closer and to a higher ranked opponent....though neutral vs away evens that out a bit.

Yet the talking heads NEVER put Wisconsin in the discussion. It was Alabama vs Ohio State ONLY.

So if Ohio States defeat of Wisconsin excluded them, why didn't Auburn's win over Bama???

It's because since the day he who wasn't going to be the coach at Bama became the coach there, ESPN has bent over backwards to promote him and that program. How many other 7-5 teams had their spring game televised on "the mothership" that year???

The problem ain't the damn format...,it's that things are rigged at worse and at the least played by a
Different set of rules.
