Any suggestions on a tactical flashlight?

My stepdad gave me an offset 1" scope ring for my AR with the thought that I could go and find a flashlight to put in it. Most of the tac lights I've seen come with mounts permanently attached to them. Any of you baws know a good 1" diameter flashlight that would fit in a ring like that?

Elzetta Charlie. That's what I have on my home defense gun. Rugged as hell and bright. Quality is amazing.

i have a couple of the Streetlight Strion flashlights. They are extremely bright and have a 1 inch diameter. It can also take the recoil of rifles and shotguns.

If your rifle will be a home defense rifle with a red dot, I'd also steer you to consider putting a green light on your gun. The green can be very disorienting for your target and provides a perfect contrast for your red dot sight. I have one on my personal home defense AR. This may not be the same brand as mine but the size and shape looks similar:
