Vikings fans better seriously hope they win their next 2 games.

Otherwise that play won't mean a damn thing other than a "good story"

The most Viking thing to do would be to go to Philly and lose.

Vikes have a ton of bad losses in the play offs and 4 Superbowls. The Saints have a LONG way to go to catch up with all of the post season bad losses collected by the Minnesota Vikings.

I'm still not bothered by it all. The Saints won the NFC Championship game at home vs the Vikes back in 09. This season, the Vikes win at home vs the Saints in a Divisional playoff game. In both games, the loser had a good chance to win.

The Vikes were great back in 2009 and the Saints were fortunate to win that game. In the "Karma Game" last Sunday, same thing. The winning team was fortunate to win the game.

When all is said and done, the 2017 New Orleans Saints will forever be The Champions of the NFC South Division. That's not nothing, people. That's not nothing.

You know what will be funny?

The Patriots having a walk off touchdown making the Vikings 0-5 in Super Bowls.

Skol.

I guess it would be funny, but, I'd rather see the Jags win it instead of the Pats. Pats are the greatest but I'm ready for some other champion -- anybody but a Falcon.

Also pulling for the Jags. Always felt sorry for that franchise and it’s fans. Also glad that Fournette is tasting success finally.

I think the Patriots are relieved that the Saints, Panthers, and Falcons are eliminated from facing them in the Super Bowl.

The NFL contrived the NFC bracket, perfectly.

I would like to see the Jags win the whole thing, as well.

The problem with NFL television ratings is that a percentage of fans have realized that the games are massaged.

Why watch an event that is being manipulated?

Sure, individual plays are exciting and the effort given by all players is commendable.

When you see a team demoralized by the league and their paid officials, it becomes heartbreaking.

You can cheer your favorite teams' effort and know the outcome can be guided by officials.

Some viewers are just plain finished with the fraud.

I believe the average fan can accept any of the 32 teams being crowned champion, if the playing field is fair.

The NFL owners do not get it. They feel the big market teams need to make the playoffs and win it all for ratings.

Overall viewership and interest would be better served with legitimate upsets and letting the ball bounce naturally swinging game outcomes.

I'm still having a tough time accepting that the NFL front office convenes with the Officials and hatches plans to "fix" the outcomes of games.

The NFL does, I believe, ask Officials to call games a certain way, usually with a goal of producing higher scoring games, protecting QBs and avoiding unnecessary delays, but that's the extent of it, IMHO.

I cant even imagine how big of an a-hole you'd have to be to buy and wear this shirt.

Let's go Jags. I'm tired of seeing the Patriots in the superbowl.

Tomayto or Tomahto. The Competition Committee sets points of emphasis for the officials for the season and for each game.

Rich McKay of the Falcons is the Chairman.

In the Saints Super Bowl week, the NFL discussed with the media that they would have the Super Bowl Refs look for illegal formations and motions against the Saints.

Nothing in the media was discussed about Peyton Manning and his hard counts, hand movements, and head movements prior to snaps.

CSP countered that he was removing all plays from his playbook that this particular set of Refs tended to call penalties on.

In Atlanta, a Ref was substituted last second with an ex-Falcon player affiliation against the Saints.

This said Ref appeared under another name for the game coaches paperwork.

If you change a Ref out, you need to update the paperwork to the coaches.

Coaches gameplan for officials and their tendancies.

The "Points of Emphasis" given to game officials are how games get massaged.

Great points and great insight. That's not exactly "fixing" but I think you've explained how games are "influenced" if not "fixed".

I never once used the word "fixed".

I used the words massaged and manipulated.

Teams can and do outplay the "Points of Emphasis".

The Saints play hard to the very end. Some teams just roll over and the scores get out of hand.

It is a credit to the Saints coaching and players that most of the games are competitive.
