Beck upon returning to the US. He lost one hand completely and all the fingers on the other. His nose was also amputated and reconstructed

Beck underwent surgery where skin from his forehead and cartilage from his ears reformed his nose.

Becks hands were destroyed with frostbite but he still managed to return to work as a pathologist.
The backstory of Beck and Peach's marriage before and after the Everest event is also incredibly interesting and they are two very strong people indeed
