Watched it last night, loved it. Love those old old Chicago tunes. Being a trumpet player myself its nice to be able to hear rock music with kickass horns.

It's amazing how good their first album was, and I thought the documentary did a good job of demonstrating how their success was mostly grass roots.

They didn't achieve immediate radio success. While musicians like Joplin and Hendrix recognized their talent, it took crowds hearing their work live before their songs started charting.

Great, great band while Kath was with them. I grew up as a kid listening to early Chicago, and lived the Cetera years of the 80s. I enjoyed them at the time, but there's no question that the Kath-led band was the best Chicago would ever be.
