Anyone have a list of all roads closed for the Baton Rouge area? Are I-10 and I-12 open?

For the roads that aren't closed, let me give you a warning after driving this morning. Even if the road isn't closed, it has ice on it and you will be slipping and sliding your way around on it. This is because they did not prepare for it the right way.

Carry on with the thread.

How would you suggest 'they' prepare for iced roads in Louisiana?
The same way 'they' do it in other states where this happens dozens of times a winter.

Unless we were all lied to, they had trucks loaded with salt solution and 1,000's of DOTD workers working around the clock. This is from John Bel's tweet. I call bullshite on it, but whatever. Typical Louisiana.

Just drove 190 from Albany to Hammond, a little ice in the shaded areas but the areas in the sun were fine to drive on.

We don't have the materials available on the drop of a hat.
Yes they do. They used it last time the roads froze (around the 1st). What the frick do you think they do? Just throw up their hands in the air and say, "oh well this is Louisiana"? On that thought, maybe you are a part of DOTD because it sounds to me like you think that way.

Just drove from Gonzales to the airport in Kenner:

Airline Hwy: very little traffic. Average speed about 50 to 53 mph.

I 310 ramps closed in St Rose.
