How the hell does that happen? Carl Banks made the all-pro team ONCE during the 1980s while Carson was 2x first-team all-pro and 3x second-team all-pro that same decade, hall of fame voters/sportswriters are weird man

Well probably because Banks played at a time when arguably 2 of the top 5 OLB's to have ever played with Tippet and Taylor? And they only have 2 OLB at the time since All Pro Teams were based off the 4-3 not 3-4 then?
Then you had Marshall coming into prominence due to the 46 and going to Washington as a FA winning a Super Bowl his first year there.
The OLB of that generation were amazing.
