No Carson wasn't as good as Taylor or Banks. But nice try.
Harry Carson was the glue that held that madhouse together but Banks and Taylor were the best players of that defense. Just because he dumped Gatorade on Parcells doesn't mean he was the best player, just he had seniority and was a Captain.
