Then you must be talking about the 300 cubic inch INLINE Six. Big difference from a V6.
The 4.9L I-6 was a helluva engine - a lot of torque and very reliable.

I had one!!! 4 speed with the granny 1st gear. Could pull a house down. I would love to have that truck back today.
