Why avoid Stabs? I’ve heard good things.

I took 5 fellas in for a client dinner and it was a comedy of errors. Clearly the staff is either undertrained, or inexperienced.... from the hostess, to both of our waiters. We all agreed, if we go back - its gonna be a while. We spent $800 on dinner.... just saying if you are looking at a steakhouse in BR, I would recommend another establishment.

Didnt want to make a thread and hammer them as I know their group has alot of fans on here. Just a very poor experience that was picked-up-on by no one. Managers included.

May give them a try again in the future, but it wont be soon.

Stab's is the second best steak in BR, right behind Chris', but with a much better atmosphere, wine/whiskey selection, and apps... but not as good with the sides and with a wait staff that's not quite as professional. It's more relaxed, less stuffy for sure.
