re: elderberry juice....does it work?

My wife has been giving it to the kids ever since my 8 year olds best friend got the flu as well as many of my kids others friends. Two of my four kids did end up with the flu but barely ran fever and did not seem as bad as others and they were back to normal in less than a week. It may not keep you from the flu, but it seems to lessen the symptoms. Might just be a placebo effect, but it seemed to help.
