Other (bigger) games will probably start striking similar deals now that the market is set.
Steam will probably stay hands-off, but Riot and some of the other big companies will probably sign deals relatively soon.

Riot signed their deal in 2016, with BAMTech.

I thought I saw somewhere where League was considering city-based teams similar to OWL.
