Jedd Fisch?

I did some research on Gilbert and I'm really not sold on him as a fit here.
So I kept digging and I think my favorite guy right now would be Jedd Fisch. He's worked under some really good coaches, including Pete Carroll to satisfy Orgeron's USC tie requirement.
From his 247 page, he seems to be an extremely competent recruiter. LINK
UCLA's offense in 2017 was 37th in scoring (53 TDs compared to 44 for LSU), and 22nd in total offense.
My second choice would be Tee Martin. USC scored 60 TDs last year, had the 35th ranked scoring offense and the 13rd ranked total offense. He also runs a multiple offense, which I think would work better and we'd end up liking it more than a spread or air raid offense. I know many have said he's not leaving USC unless it's a head job, but he might want to get out from under Helton's shadow and prove himself for the right price.

Fisch would be interesting, Martin is a recruiter and OC is just a title.

It's going to be Ensminger as co-OC
Don't bother getting your hopes up

I know. When I was looking at the top offenses, I knew I was just wasting my time, but I don't have anything to do right now anyway. Sick kids and just waiting for the Saints to start.

He calls plays on first and second down and Helton calls third downs, apparently. That's why I thought maybe he'd look to leave. But you might be right about game planning.

Jedd is a good coach but more importantly a very good QB Coach.

Jebb Fisch is who I have been calling for to be the OC since UCLA bowl game.
