It's been proven that this is false. The fatty cohort dies young and has less lifetime health costs than smokers, alzheimers patients, or even healthy younger people who live into their 90's.
The full solution is to speed up the death of fatties and smokers, and euthanize everyone else who can't pass an annual health exam past the age of 70.

Fatties die younger so their net cost against healthcare is lower.
They also put a lesser strain against social security.
