Where does he fit in?
Who will he replace in starting lineup?

Barca plays a 4-3-3 and has rotated the 3rd man beside Messi and Suarez. So Coutinho is that guy.

Wouldn’t Dembele be that guy when he’s back playing after being hurt?

Dembele has been hurt all year. Coutinho can win Barca trophies this season.

But he can’t play in Champions League for them right?

Barça has already won Liga, barring a miracle or a half dozen lengthy injuries for key players. Honestly, since Coutinho can’t play in UCL, he’s really only going to help them possibly win the Copa del Rey. Bit of an interesting rest of the season for Coutinho, should be under no pressure and able to start gelling with the squad on his own time.

Coutinho can play on the left side in the front three or in the midfield 3...

I imagine they bought him to be the long term replacement for Iniesta in midfield...

Left wing when Iniesta is in the same lineup and AM from the left-side when Iniesta is not in the lineup.

Edit: I imagine Iniesta will be getting a little more rest this year in Liga matches since its been a cake-walk for Barcelona so far. That's when Coutinho will move into midfield.
