It's an internal matter. LSU doesn't have a reason to fire him, but Orgeron wants him gone. Fired is not what this will be. He will be granted a release and LSU will pay heavily for it.

That's not necessarily true. He may be negotiating to reduce the buyout so that it won't offset. It's not really possible to know. There may be some cause that could possibly earn him no buyout.
I doubt he wants to take a year off
