Why are they hiding the information?

Each state has various voter ID laws that prohibit them from releasing voter's personal information. Additionally, most people are not ok with a state agency releasing names of all registrants, addresses, dates of birth and, most importantly, partial Social Security numbers and other data.

Can you honestly say you'd be ok with your state releasing all of your personal information, including part of your social security number????

I've worked three out of the last five elections as a volunteer poll watcher for various campaigns and it is very, very difficult to commit voter fraud with nobody noticing.

In addition to the poll workers, all major precincts have poll watchers from both parties monitoring voter activity....so if a busload of illegals (like Roy Moore claimed) pulled up to fraudently vote, it would not go unnoticed.

I'll say it again: no evidence has been provided by the Trump administration that 3-5 million illegals voted. Last I checked, less than ten incidents of voter fraud were reported in the 2016 election.

If mass voter fraud was committed, I'd love for someone to provide evidence (not an opinion or conspiracy theory).

Yeah, because the federal government doesn't already have all of this info. Have you ever filled out a federal tax return?

"Personal information" is completely, totally irrelevant to the issue at hand.

You are apoplectic about someone sending the feds part of your social security number.
Seriously????

You do understand the feds are the issuers of SSN's in the first place?
You do understand the feds are the same folks to whom you send your SSN ... all the time?

Well bless your little heart.
Very, very difficult??

Here is how difficult it actually is:

Example 1:
(1) A political group keeps records on which precinct residents have moved to a different locale, or died.
(2) Meanwhile, affiliated state political officials ensure voter rolls not be cleaned up for years ensuring thousands, or even tens of thousands of errors.
(3) On election day, volunteers are collected, given the name and address of previous precinct residents, and bussed to voting locations.
(4) They provide poll workers with the name and address they've been given and they vote.

Example 2:
(1) A resident fellon on parole gets registered by GOTV activists.
(2) Election day comes.
(3) He's registered. He walks into the voting station. He votes.

Example 3:
(1) An illegal alien gets registered by GOTV activists.
(2) Election day comes.
(3) She's registered. She walks into the voting station. She votes.

Example 4:
(1) States like New Hampshire allow same-day registration.
(2) New Hampshire is contiguous with heavily populated highly partisan greater Boston.
(3) "New residents" are bussed into southern New Hampshire precincts where they register, vote, then "change their mind the next day about living in NH.

Example 5:
Extrapolation of the above to absentee ballots.

Now, IF states like Minnesota were actually serious about cleaning up the fraud which you seem to happily see propagated, they would round-up and arrest felons who are documented to have illegally voted (e.g., in the Al Franken fraudulent election). But states like Minnesota have not done that.

IF states like California were serious about cleaning up the fraud which you seem to happily see propagated, when presented with evidence that illegals have registered, they would provide the names and addresses to ICE.

IF states were serious about reducing the fraud which you seem to happily see propagated, they would clean up their voter rolls.

IF states were serious about cleaning up the fraud which you seem to happily see propagated, they would cooperate with a federal commission looking into the matter.

IF you were serious about cleaning up the fraud, you would never deny proof it exists.
