The last two weekends we smashed limits but we are hunting along the river in S. Delta. Ducks did not arrive there until the big freeze just before new years and still not big numbers until MLK day. The usual routine the last 3-4 years is the ducks don't get there until the late season (janurary).

We’re up in East Carroll. Best hunting of the yr has been the last two weeks. Been killing most mallards and greys and then a few pins/widgeon/teal. One of our guys killed 16 teal this past Sunday and no big ducks al of a sudden when we’ve barely seen any teal all season. It’s our first yr with the place so we’re trying to figure it out. We’ve been told it’s too dry to hold many birds which has been the cause of the slow year. I’ve just been lucky on most of my limited hunts we’ve done decent to really well.
