Great question. For me it's not about wins and losses necessarily. I think I'm capable of recognizing improvements even if they don't translate into wins. I'm not so sure about the rest of the fan base.

With respect to expectations, I try my best not to have any. I try to go into each season with the mindset of just enjoying the ride. I also realize that isn't an an approach shared by the majority. That said things are a lot more fun when we are competing for championships of some kind so that's what I hope for.

Key word there is "try".
