From my sources(which is A&M dept) yes they are interested but no decision yet from Aranda.... As of this morning!

You don’t know anybody in the Aggie Athletic dept. I work and and live among the brass. I’ve cracked more A&M news than anybody on this site.....

This means tamu missed on their first choice. And Aranda isn't leaving lsu as of thus am. So suddenly, it's tamu having issues filling a coaching vacancy.
