Few in venice but they are very cane shy. Only way to kill more than a couple is to build blind out in ponds. Low tides, low river and north wind has made most areas downriver unhuntable. Group of guys at landing on wednesday had limit that included wigeon, pintail and greys from upriver.

Should be a story coming out in a few weeks about wardens busting a group on private land near Southeast Pass in the middle of Pass A Loutre WMA (Goose Lake area). Got caught with 155 teal. We have long suspected them of feeding on said private land. That seems to be the case with that many ducks based on the current conditions down there.
