A lady shoots him in the leg with buckshot, and he keeps going into another block. We go to the power lines and wait. The truck in front of us then gut shoots him, and he comes crawling towards us. I walked up and finished him off with my CC pistol.
Deer ended up being a little 1.5 yr old 8 pt. My buddy says that’s a pretty good deer for dog hunting.

All I could think of while reading the OP. That and imagining the trail of Bud heavy cans they left through the woods.
