My wife and I have lived in the ATL metro area for about a decade now and we’d like to like somewhere smaller.
The traffic issues have gotten old. Also, being somewhere where this is “a lot to do” means that everyone fills their lives with so much busyness. No one has time to just slow down and call or check on a friend, or have someone over for lunch (myself included). Just doesn’t feel like community.

Small town = no dam traffic. Kind of pisses me off catching one of the 5 red lights in town. 
Every time I go to BR or NO, I think to myself how the hell people can live like that. And yes, I lived in NO for 18 years.
