What schools (private or public) outperform Franklin? Since it’s a lot.

BFHS has ridiculous standards to get in, and it’s no secret to be the best school you have to have the best students.

Additionally, they weed out their students that lag behind. I would say they lose anywhere from 20-30 kids a graduating class due to grade retention....even shrinking their accepted best students to the best of the best prior to graduating.

Franklin usually starts with 230-240 and graduates about 170. There have been years when as many as 50 students fail out or choose to leave after or during freshmen year. It is not impossible to get in. With their matrix, if you have all As or near it from a crappy school you can still get in even if you near fail the entrance test. But once you get in, neither your skin color nor your family money will keep you there if you cannot cut it academically.
