I've also had a package sitting on my desk for you that I need to get around to sending out. I'll try and do it later this afternoon.
with a 30+ inch platform, will one tie down in the center work, or are 2 needed? what locations? front back, or left and right. Im thinking front and back because that is where it would want to tip. any suggestions on tie down brands?

I think 1 SS turnbuckle in the center would be plenty but it probably wouldn’t hurt two have 2.

I noticed your tie down goes to what appears to be a bow seat pedastal. Is there something inserted in there or did you change it out to something else? Thanks

It would depend on the width of the platform. If it's going to be as wide as a hatch and big enough to fish two humans then I'd use two turnbuckles. One will be fine for holding it down, but casting platforms have an annoying tendency to rotate. The wider they are, the more they want to turn.

How about make this one a little better so it doesn't fly out your boat again...
