Considering the "popular vote" was only 3 million votes difference his ratings will probably never be greater than 50%. It was tight by populace (which was not the election issue since we are not mob rules) so he started at like 49.9% maximum potential rating on 11/10/16.
His ratings waver after that based on the Enemedia and his few mistakes. This is why he will win again if he minimizes mistakes. Getting directly involved with the documents and data involved would probably be too risky.

If the documents show that the FBI and/or DOJ gamed the issuance of the FISA warrant to spy on Trump's campaign (as he's been alleging for more than a year), that wouldn't be risky. That would be a slam dunk for Trump.
