Willie played at our municipal course, Mallard Cove, in Lake Charles and his Dad (Willard) was our pro. Willard Wood was the first person I ever took golf lessons from. Willie, despite his Wee Willie size, he could play damm good golf. His sister, Deanne, was a great player also. Played against him in high school golf (I use "played against" loosely, as he always kicked our butts).

Waco, we've likely crossed paths - Willard and my dad were friends back in his Shreveport days - Willie is a neighbor and friend - enjoying watching his son Hayden grow into being a very good player in his own right lately...good folks!
