re: NY Times: Pentagon’s UFO Program - aerospace/esoteric/quantum mechanics/future

This part of the synopsis of Chains from the Sea really jumped out at me.

The story ends with the Other People apologizing for the coming genocide as they proceed toward “winding down the world.”

I suppose it's just temporal bias, for a lack of a better phrase, but its feels like events are accelerating towards something. I think a lot of us feel it. I usually just dismiss it as something every generation feels with the ebb and flow of events that impact humanity throughout history and especially now by being bombarded with information. Idk ...I cant shake the feeling we are about to witness something extraordinary...something that will cause a global shift in consciousness. Perhaps a global sighting of this phenomenon. Anybody else feel this way?
